Since making his debut on Catskills way back in 2006, Shenoda has successfully carved a niche as a producer capable of shaping deep house, tech-house, bass music and ravier influences into intriguing new shapes. He's at it again here, laying down a quartet of mixed-up house jams for Will Saul's Aus label. Over the course of the EP, he successfully doffs a cap to sun-drenched, Balearic-influenced lusciousness (the striking "Sunbeam/Bloodstream"), warm, tech-tinged deep house ("Streak") and bolder, ballsier sounds. In the latter category we'd put the surging alien motifs, metronomic beats and swooping Motor City pads of "If I Could", and the hands-in-the-air pianos, sweaty beats and dreamy vocal samples of opener "Labour".
