A_X opts for electro at 140bpm on this subdued new one, harkening to a pre-Millennium era when broken beat, electro, drum n' bass and proto-dubstep all coalesced into one nice primordial stew. 'Ceramic City' whirls and sloshes about, hardly differentiating between drums and synth, and basking in pads that sound not far off from whale song. 'Rei III', meanwhile, goes weird halftime, piercing the ears with echoic hi-hats and brittle glass sonics. Music for headrushy halls of mirrors.
