THE “BLUE SUN” IS RISING

We're thrilled to introduce our debut compilation featuring 11 incredible tracks from some seriously talented Hungarian artists, and even a special gem from an Italian producer. They're not just contributors; they're family to us.

The story began in the autumn of 2022 at Blutorange, Budapest, which used to be the only listening bar in the town. After an intense summer, we wanted to do something more relaxed, so we started to do record listening sessions. We kept inviting collectors to show off their hidden gems, which soon became a social thing, a melting pot of genres and communities. Simultaneously, we also launched a mix series with the same ethos.

Many of those musicians involved are the very ones who helped craft this compilation. It’s a mix of dub, electronica, jazz, psychedelia, prog, trip-hop, hip-hop, experimental, and more. Despite the variety, each track delivers unique vibes that invite you on a journey beyond the ordinary.

And here’s another twist—we’re releasing this collection on cassette, divided into an "orange side" and a "blue side" based on the mood of the tracks. Whether you start with orange or blue, the tracks interlink perfectly, crafting an endless auditory loop.

So settle into your favorite chair—after all, "the chair is the space"—and let the Blue Sun take you to places.
