Almost three years after the well-received 'Orange Wine 'EP, and after three international tours, Okvsho is back with its fourth project, A Place Between Us. Georg and Christoph Kiss, the two brothers behind Okvsho, flaunt a project that is more intimate and bold than ever. Spanning the usual gamut of muted neo-soul, hip-hop, nu-jazz and all in between, the repertoire is expanded to even further limits, despite the laconic sonic demeanour; 'Soule' spans desert funk and jazz, and loosely signals the baile turn to follow with 'Pasitos Jaguari'. This second LP is the first full-length project to be released on the newly-founded Zurich-based label Current Moves, with which the Okvsho-brothers aim to shape the young European jazz scene they are inspired by.
