SVN brings his class to the 30th release from German label Sued and does so in a deft dub fashion. Opener 'Dub 1' is a light and airy cut that raises you into a wide open sky with balmy pads and smeared chords. 'Dub Cafe' is a slower and more swaggering traditional dub jaunt with rippling keys and 'Dub 2' then acts you adrift on some cosmic chord work while nu-disco beats a la Metro Area pump the party from below. Last of all, 'Dub 3' is a more percussive and textural number with wonky beats and grinding keys. Plenty of variation makes this one an essential 12".
