We seem to be in the middle of a run of Prince reissues right now, with the focus being on those he released through Warner. The relationship eventually went sour and Prince knocked out plenty of records in quick succession to see out his deal but that didn't dint their commercial success. Albums from the entire 16-year period are being put out into the ether on vinyl and now it's the turn of 1988’s Lovesexy, which came on the heels of Sign O’ The Times and might be the last of his imperial phase. 'Alphabet Street’ is the most noted of the singles here in an album full of seriously steamy funk sounds.
