Back in 2004 when Volcov aka Isoul8 unleashed the inaugural Slam Jam disco edit 12 inch there was but a handful of like minded labels and individuals such as Black Cock, The Idjut Boys and the ridiculously prolific Danny Krivit. Fast forward six years and the market has become somewhat homogenized. It's in light of such a state that Volcov presents this seventh and final edition of disco edits from his collection. Those lucky enough to have attended the somewhat legendary Garage Paradise night Volcov runs in Bologna with fellow Italian edit don Luca Trevisi will recognise the four tracks here. For the rest of us, it's a last chance to enjoy four obscure disco tracks tweaked for optimum effect. Superb stuff.
