A fresh crock of reissued Wackie's material springs forth from the not-so-wacky US dub label, all in mixed sizes from 7" to 12". Complementing the latest reissue by Abbashantie and Neville & Jerry, this one's a 12" by Wayne Jarrett and Soul Syndicate, a deft Jamaican reggae singer and slick backing band respectively. First released in 1979, it's got two songs laid to groove: 'Moses' by Jarrett and its 'Version' by Soul Syndicate. Both are stomping roots reggae bits that praise the biblical prophet and leader of the Israelites in equally weighty fashion.
