Acid Synthesis doesn't release too often, but when they do it is worth taking note. This is just a third 12" since October 2021 and it is another brilliant one that comes on their own Planet 303 label. 'State of Being' opens up with gurgling acid lines and warped basslines that are deep and heady. '303 Dreams' is darker but made from the same components - a prominent 303 line, supple kick drums and stripped-back percussion. 'Down The Line' is a spine-tingler with serene chords and icy dancing hi-hats while 'Functional' gets more tripped out with its wispy melodies and supple, pulsing bass.
