The long lost electronic sounds of Soviet-era Russia is what this young but already vital new label focusses on with its edits. The first few volumes have serve up some real treats and volume four is no such, either. 'Strana Nepuganykh' is a blissful post-rave sound with nice floaty breakbeats and pensive chords running throughout the mix. 'Poceluy' is more direct, with old school stabs and a busier, funkier break overlaid by some nice jazzy chords. There is a celestial charm to the bright white chords of 'Poi!' and then things get a little deeper on 'Ovosl Eendelsop,' which sounds like 90s Roni Size doing house music.
