Morphine could be described as one of the biggest cult acts of the 90s, except given that the band sold more than 100,000 copies of the original version of this album, they're probably a bit big and successful to labour under that banner. With a nice sleazy twist, they combine jazz - their distinctive honking sax is an integral part of their trademark sound - and blues with flick-knife rock and roll that packs a mean swagger and grooves aplenty.
