Jeremy was a short lived alias of one Jean Frank Cochois, and if that name is familiar it's probably because you know of his work over the years as The Timewriter. A classic to those that know, the Ascentic Rhodes EP originally came out on German label Tonika Recordings back in 1998 and receives a welcome reissue here courtesy of Italy's Back To Life. From the smooth and contemplative deepness of A side cut 'Soul Kicks' and its serious male vocal, to the emotive and swing-fuelled mood music of 'Club Supreme', ending with the sensual, almost balearic chill-out number 'Spiritual Reality'. Timeless.
