Hackney outfit Paranoid London make the sleaziest, filthiest, more raw and real beats around. It is macho machine music that blows the rest out of the water. The duo are also dab hands at edits, though, as their Pledits series is showing. This second one tackles b-boy classics, New Romantic bonus beats and some super Detroitisms. 'Pleasure Boys Are Just My Size' has crashing hits and stiff grooves, coarse claps and dehumanised vocals that make you want to jack. 'PL Off The Groove' is a warehouse banger with corrugated basslines and splintered drums that build the pressure and cannot fail to blow up the floor.
