New Born was made up of four Italian immigrants who all lived in the area around Ulm and Bavaria. They released this mix of proto-piano house and cosmic disco in 1981 and, typically, it became a much sought after rarity. Germany's Schatzimusik now serve up the superb single with remixes from contemporary disco dons. Original tune 'Galaxy' is a feel good, loos limbed stomper with dazzling chords and funky bass. The Space rework is more airy and rickety, then Albion offers a majestic late night lullaby while Alexander Arpeggio goes all out early Chicago house.
