Following the release of their excellent retrospective of Stefan Robbers' 1990s work as Florence, Analogue Expressions, Delsin has decided to put out this supplementary EP featuring rare tracks and hard-to-find remixes. There's much to enjoy throughout, from the dystopian, doom-laden sci-fi shuffle of electro legend Convextion's 2009 rework of 'The Vineyard', and the sweaty, full-throttle intensity of 1991 cut 'Exploration', to the typically inventive, off-kilter techno hustle of 'Disappointment', which is here presented in its rarely seen original instrumental mix form. Our favourite though has to be Peter Ford AKA Baby Ford's druggy and trippy 1996 remix of 'The Vineyard', a snappy, all-analogue affair that defines easy categorization.
