Burnski's Instinct project continues to gather steam with the release of a second album following last year's Still Life, which established the Leeds tech house veteran as a serious player in the new wave of UK garage. The ideas come thick and fast on Point Of View, flowing from the aqueous 2-step funk of 'Pistolwhip' to the 4x4 uplift of 'Sunstream', but the strongest moments come when the sound design collides with formidable bassweight on the likes of 'Select'. This is primarily a collection of club tackle, but it's packed with enough shade and depth to reach beyond the dance for all those other moments when you need a little shuffle in your life.
