Some two years after last treating us to a tasty trio of re-edits, mystery scalpel fiend JB Edits delivers more hot-to-trot reworks via the hilariously named Sosilly Edits imprint. The standout for us is A-side 'Cosmic Intergalactic Nebula Boogie', a tight and tidy, club-focused rearrangement of a suitably spacey, late 1970s disco romp that comes stacked high with soaring orchestration, good grooves, extra-percussive sections for the dancers and plenty of spacey sounding synthesizer flourishes. Over on the B-side, 'Leapy Looker' is a languid but impactful dance through sweet and soulful disco pastures, while 'Men Skating With Men' is a roller-disco ready rearrangement of a lesser-known electro-boogie gem.
