Kreatywne i pokręcone wielofunkcyjne proto-house'owe DJ-toole/edity okraszone dzikimi efektami. Wersja aerobic-funku The Funkacise Gang na A2 plus flamenco-disco, a na koniec dźwięki wybuchów.

As you'd expect from a brand-new re-edit series, those behind the strong-smelling Poppers project have chosen to stay in the shadows. What we can tell you though is that their first EP is packed to the rafters with particularly pungent, floor-friendly reworks. They begin with an intensely percussive, Latin-style drum jam, before cannily combining a sparse but heavy drum machine rhythm - partially crafted from backwards percussion sounds - with what sounds like the instructions from a keep-fit video. Over on side two, a crazed but surprisingly addictive up-tempo flamenco re-edit is followed by a minute-long DJ tool that's little more than the sound of explosions and breaking glass. An odd EP all told, but also a great one.
