Nowy alias Steffi. Po raz pierwszy w karierze sięga po nowofalowe brzmienia, ale nie odcina się tutaj od Ostgutowego sznytu, a poddaje go obróbce. „Jakby A Split Second grało Mike'a Parkera”.

Head of labels Klakson and Dolly, Panorama Bar resident Steffi makes a rare appearance outside of the aforementioned imprints to reboot her Crushed Soul moniker here for San Francisco's Dark Entries. The 'Family of Waves' EP retains her love of Detroit techno and electro, best heard on the moody mechanical funk of "Gravitational Field" or "Diffusion Of Heat", while bold new wave and cold industrial noir is the flavour on the throbbing EBM pulse of "Scalar Property" or the title track - a seething slow burner with euphoric acid inflections. All songs have been mastered for vinyl by George Horn at Fantasy Studios in Berkeley, with cover art designed by Eloise Leigh and Goldenliustra.
