Zmyślny kolaż „północnej” muzyki elektronicznej z marokańskim folkiem i psychodelią. Jest basowo, house'owo, na modłę R&B a nawet footworkową. Masa polirytmów i potencjał na parkietowy przypał!

As debut offerings go, this EP from new On The Corner Records signee Guedra Guedra is mighty impressive. It sees the producer fuse contemporary dancefloor bass and drums - think UK funky, hardcore, Kuduro, juke etc - with instrumental and vocal sounds from his native Morocco. It's a unique blend but one that lands each and every time, from the stuttering, sub-heavy brilliance of exotic opener "Uggug" and the sparkling, rush-inducing insanity of "Black Wax" - a track that seems to repeatedly change tempo while serving up a kind of tribal jazz-funk fusion sound - to the blistering beats, North African lead lines, dense percussion and forthright machine beats of "Juke Lockstep".
