Dwa wyjątkowo przyjazne parkietowi numery legendy braindance'u i Warp Records. Tym razem nie ma tu wymachiwania solówkami i samplami. Nie ma to jak gdy niezły kombinator porządnie przytechni!

After what seems like an eternity - though in reality it's only been four years - Squarepusher is back on Warp. Tom Jenkinson has a new album due in January 2020, but before then there's the small matter of this teaser single. In its original form (see side B), "Vortrack" is an angular, acid-fired dancefloor beast, similar in ethos to some of the acclaimed producer's earliest singles on Warp. The rhythm is hard and off-kilter, the electronics mind-altering, and the gurgling TB-303 lines sharper than razor wire. Those looking for a relatively straightforward dancefloor alternative should check Fracture's superb A-side rub, which re-imagines Jenkinson's acid madness as a forthright, stab-happy slab of doom-laden drum and bass.
