American lo-fi house punk Delroy Edwards is back on the label that started it all off for him. Fresh from his collaboration with Dean Blunt, he serves up an album of old school jams that will get hands in the air. "Slap Happy" would be a kitsch track in a lesser artists hands, "Snake Eyes" plays with a lumpy rhythm that is bare bones and brilliant, and that rhythmic playfulness continues on loopy excellence like "Buckeye Beats". "Nightmare House" echoes the earliest proto-house to come out of Chicago and that throwback vibe continues on the party starting "Rock This Place". These are mechanical and skeletal grooves that always manage to sound familiar and accessible.
