Two years on from his last outing on Salt Mines under the Reptant alias, Aussie Lou Karsh rejoins the "lizard tech militia" (his words, not ours) and offers up a quartet of heavy electro cuts blessed with "Reptilian Magnetism". The pull is strong on "Time Blind", a jittery slab of acid-electro insanity that's wonkier than a ket-addled pensioner, while EP opener "Ghost In The Filter" manages to be both sleazy and spacey simultaneously. Elsewhere, "Shermanic Ritual" is a tougher (but arguably wilder) trip into paganistic acid-electro territory, and the title track successfully wraps glassy-eyed 80s synth-pop chords and bubbly electronics around a high-octane electro beat.
