Fresh from unveiling his dancefloor "Dreams" on Warehouse Rave, Soundbwoy Killah pops up on the recently launched Hundred Flowers label with two more peak-time stunners that are sure to become anthems before the year is out. Loleatta Holloway-sampling opener "Burning" has been hyped to the heavens thanks to DJ support from Mall Grab and others, but it's more than worthy of praise. Built around classic, hip-house-era breakbeats, weighty sub-bass and one of the most recognizable vocal samples in dance music history, it's the kind of cut that will do the business every time it's dropped. "Moving On", meanwhile, is glassy-eyed and gorgeous, with ricocheting vocal samples and dreamy chords rising above a polyrhythmic breakbeat groove.
