We are proud and pleased to present the second release from the quality deep / tech house label out of Tokyo, Japan. The No Milk crew have previously released through the excellent Capricious imprint and their own Rhapsody label. Continuing in the same vein as the first release, No Milk lay down a smooth groove of Detroit-inspired house, that is house grooves with a melodic electronic vibe. Scattered with cunning samples and jazzy keyboard riffs, warm and luscious double bass lines and sophisticated edits this is definitely grown-up music for discerning dancefloors. No MIlk’s influences are representative of the high points in funk music; Gil Scott Heron and Moodyman come high on the list.
