Adam Zarecki delivers two sumptuous disco house jams that makes us feel like we're not quite ready for autumn yet.
'Yesterday's' loops a jazz-inflexion / Nile Rodgers-esque guitar lick over slinky bass and sweet bluesy female vocals, all mushed up with some good filter work and warm trumpet motifs. On the flip, 'Pretending' kicks off with a Blaxploitation soundtrack feel, unfolding into a beautiful string arrangement, jazzy Rhodes and undulating bass wiggles.
