Following up a great release as Azimute with good pal Philippe Quenum on Cocoon, Cesare 'Vs. Disorder' Marchese returns on Vakant with more quality minimal tech-house on the 'Ararapira Jazz' EP. From the deeply hypnotic and rolling subtlety of "Dinner With Bogdan" to the title track - which comes in two versions. The original being a bumpy and swing-fuelled grove on the deeper tip (perfect for the early evening or after hours alike) while the remix by fellow Italian Spacetravel (Perlon) goes for that old-school techno futurism reminiscent of early '90s Sheffield techno. Finally on the flip, "Desorientado" (feat Sabino) is more familiar of this veteran producer on this druggy and tripped out reductionist jam.
