When the IT first started releasing music over 30 years ago, the project was a collaboration between legendary producer Larry Heard and singer/songwriter Harry Dennis. With Heard no longer involved, it has fallen to the equally legendary Ron Trent to produce this fine EP. Dennis is in fine form on the title track, speaking and singing over an ultra-deep and sensuous backing track rich in bubbly synth lines, dreamy chords and spacey electronics. Over on the B-side, Trent and Dennis dip the tempo on the blissful warmth of "Monterey (Album Version)" - all undulating synth bass, cascading pianos and conga-rich percussion - before showcasing their piano playing via the impeccable late night deep house loveliness that is "Aquatic Movement 1".
