Phase Fatale is one of Berlin's newest entries into the techno market, and it is clear that he's here to stay for the long-run. Not only are his tunes full of that very characteristic Berlin flair, but he has been hand-picked by the likes of Karl O'Connor aka Regis, Juan Mendez aka Silent Servant, and James Ruskin of their Jealous God Project - that alone should place the producer in a very comfortable position. His third appearance for the dark, foreboding imprint is as deep and treacherous as the last, throwing us in a murky, disjointed pool of sonics though the beat-laden "Breathe" and "Mirror". On the B-side, "Pressure" scraps the distortion in favour of a rolling techno joint, while "Cell" heads into an all-out sonic frenzy, a war of the senses that bangs and bangs, and keeps banging...
