Although Keita Sano's work to date has been impressively diverse - compare the fuzzy industrial techno of his first Mister Saturday Night 12" with the Afro-themed deep house of the Sweet Bitter Love EP on Spring Theory - he's often at his best when attempting to cram as much energy as possible into his tracks. He's at it again on this double A-side. "Explosion", in particular, is something of a party-starting thumper, with the Japanese producer working a tooled-up disco-house groove hard over 12 high-octane minutes. The similarly epic "Life Has Changed" is equally as impressive, with Sano cannily layering Balearic-minded electronics and Candido vocal samples atop a groove forged from chopping up George Benson's "Give Me The Night".
