Claudia Sennlaub and Wolfgang Spelmanns - the happily married coldwave duo - only made one EP together as Plaza Hotel, this magnificent two-tracker reissued by Notes On A Journey, but the 1983 single has been a digger's must-have since then. Spelmanns himself has released plenty of material for labels like Mute, but this single is the most sensual and incandescent music that he has been a part of. "Bewegliche Ziele" can be best described as a Balearic slice of industrial pop, it's bleeps and melodies riding high above the stuttering beats, but "Schon Sein In Uniform" on the flip is a moodier, wavier chant that verges on the more pensive side of the coldwave movement. A sublime slice of German history reissued.
